MeteorCNC 4T series is upto 4 axes woodworking lathe machine controller with handhandle running upto 500khz differential pulse & direction output for smooth operation with 24 Inputs, 12 Outputs, 1 Analog output and encoder facility available.
MeteorCNC 4T series is a 4 axes woodworking lathe machine controller comes with control card supporting 4 axis jitter free differential and direction output, 24 digital NPN inputs, 12 NPN outputs and 0-10v analog output. In addition with firmware and UI facility to work with Turning or Lathe machine.
4-axis CNC machines work like 4-axis machines with additional facility for turning jobs. 4T series very special as it can be used for Turning jobs as well as milling and engraving jobs. The 4th axis can be controlled as spindle in velocity mode OR rotary axis in position mode like 4H series. Generally 4th axis used is servo spindle motor with servo drive or vfd with PG card that can connect encoder from the servo spindle motor. The workpiece is immobile as the cutting tool removes material and shapes it. 4-axis machining adds a rotational axis to X, Y, and Z motions.
The X-axis rotation generates a fourth plane, the A-axis. The axis of rotation may be parallel or perpendicular to the tool tip. A conventional CNC lathe has two axes (X and z axis) and an 8- to 24-station turret, but 4T series provides additional 2 axis facility specially for wood turning lathe machines as well with 4 axis CNC router using servo spindle as 4th axis and Lathe V shape tool attachement on the machine making it operational as “Router with Lathe Machine” solving dual purpose for the user.
“Turning” refers to rotating a workpiece. Some CNC lathes are named CNC Turning Machines. CNC lathes manufacture circular forms with an OD and ID (ID).
4T : 4 axes woodworking lathe machine controller comes with inbuilt CAM generator using 2D cad file like .dxf, .plt etc. for the turning job and spiral jobs using 4 different modes of operation with simplified settings making user very comfortable for cutting critical shapes in the turning.
Specially used for pillar making for Cardle, heavy pillar jobs, rotary jobs, square jobs with facility to do Carving and engraving on each faces of the workpiece.
